The Place
Pettit Park is a 5-acre park located on the Tobacco River just upstream from Shamrock Lake. Pettit Park offers a variety of recreational opportunities including camping and fishing. All sites are first-come, first-serve, however, reservations will be made only for groups that reserve 4-8 campsites. Please call for more information. Campers are responsible for registration and deposit of fee in pipe at entrance of park. Individual sites do not have water and sewer hookups, however water and a dump station are available at the front of the park; please note that is no charge for water and sanitation if camping. If you are not camping with us, sanitation dump charge is just $5.00. Amenities include a playground structure, new picnic pavilion, horseshoe pits, picnic area with grills, sanitation station, restrooms (ADA Compliant), new coin operated shower facilities (ADA Compliant), and a fishing pier (ADA Compliant).
