If you are looking for a friendly, peaceful RV Park with scenic beauty, fishing, and hiking with exceptional personal service, located on the edge of the beautiful Hill Country, the Republic of Texas Campground welcomes you and your family. Our campground is located at 17404 Highway 16, approximately 7 miles south of Comanche, TX 76442, 35 miles northwest of Hamilton, TX, and 27 miles north of Goldthwaite, TX.
Park Rules & Directions
▪ RVs must be less than 15 years old. Exceptions to this policy are made based on what condition the older RV is in. Please contact management to determine whether an exception can be made.
▪ ARRIVAL/DEPARTURE TIME: Arrival time is 12PM; departure time is 11AM on the day of your last stay. You cannot check-in after 6PM.
▪ CANCELLATION POLICY: For Nightly guests, cancellation must be received by 6pm one day prior to arrival. There will be a fee. Cancellations after this time will be subject to billing of the full amount. Weekly and Monthly guests must pay in full up front. Refunds will not be issued for early departure. Early arrivals and late stays are permitted with approval by management to assure availability. If you plan on staying longer, the earlier you re-register, the better your chance of keeping your same site.
▪ QUIET TIME: 10PM-8AM. Please be considerate of others. No loud music, offensive language or drunkenness at any time.
▪ CONDUCT: Disorderly conduct, drunkenness, illegal drugs, obscene language, obnoxious, disruptive or vulgar behavior will not be tolerated on property. ▪ SMOKING: Smoking is not permitted in the enclosed Ranch owned property. Do not put butts out on the ground. Please put them in some kind of container and dispose of the container properly.
▪ CHILDREN: Children under age 17 should ALWAYS be under the direct supervision of a parent/guardian. Children should never be left unattended. We are not responsible for their safety or welfare. You are solely liable for their behavior.
▪ PETS: Vaccinated pets are welcome but must be on a leash at all times when outside. Always clean up after pets. Do not leave pets tethered or in a pen outside when you are absent. Owner is responsible for their pets and their actions. No pets other than those registered in office are permitted.
▪ INTERNET: Wi-Fi is offered free of charge with your reservation, but the park is not responsible for the operations and/or quality of this service. If you experience problems with your connection, please let management know.
▪ TRASH: The trash dumpster located on property is for personal trash only. Trash must be disposed of in the dumpster DO NOT leave trash outside by your RV. Sites are to be kept clean and orderly as determined by management.
▪ ELECTRICITY: 30 and 50 amp connections are available at each site. Do not tamper with breakers. If you have an electrical issue, please notify the office.
▪ SURGE PROTECTOR: All RVs should be equipped with a surge protector.
▪ SEWER: Your sewer hose must be fastened at both ends at all times.
▪ WATER: Please make sure the water connection is not leaking. During the winter months, guests are responsible for freeze prevention from the hose bib to RV. Please do not wash vehicles or fill personal pools.
▪ HAZARDOUS ITEMS: Toxic chemicals, supplies, hazardous equipment, and open carry firearms are prohibited.
▪ SPEED LIMIT: Please maintain a speed of 5 mph or less throughout the property.
PARKING: Please park only on your reserved site. Do not park on other sites even if unoccupied.
▪ FIRES & Fireworks: Fires in BBQ pits and elevated fire rings are permitted unless prohibited by Comanche County due to a fire ban. When lighting a fire, please treat it with respect and extinguish it completely before going to bed. No fireworks are permitted at any time.
▪ EJECTION: These park rules were created with the health, cleanliness, legality and welfare of all in mind. Any violations of the rules above are grounds for dismissal from the park. We reserve the right to refuse service or evict anyone in violation of Republic of Texas Campground rules and regulations, destroying/defacing property or creating a disturbance.
▪ REFUNDS: There will be no refund if you choose to leave early. Nor will there be any refund if we ask you to leave the park due to violations of our rules and regulations.
▪ LATE FEES: You will be charged a fee for every day that your payment is late.
▪ LIABILTY: Republic of Texas Campground is not responsible for fire, theft, injury, or loss of personal property by any accident or natural causes that are out of our control. Guests and all other users of this property are liable for any property damages they cause. Use of Republic of Texas Campground is at the guests’ risk and all guests must carry their own insurance. By signing this document, I agree I was presented this document at check-in and further agree and carry responsibility for all persons (including minors and guests) staying at my campsite for the duration of our stay at Republic of Texas Campground.
