    during vacations and road trips. We’ve highlighted some unique and
    interactive experiences to help you plan your next tech-savvy
    trip.

    Discovery World Science +
    Technology Center (Milwaukee)

    Discovery World is a massive 120,000
    square foot facility that includes interactive exhibits, a Digital Theater,
    live theater shows, television and audio studios, and both fresh and salt
    water aquariums. Discovery World also features The Challenge, a replica of a
    Great Lakes Schooner that sailed in the 1800s.

    Kennedy Space Center
    Visitor Complex (Titusville, Florida)

    Camping 2.0: Campsites for  the Tech-Minded At
    the Kennedy Space Center visitors of all ages can play astronaut, conduct a
    virtual spacewalk, create sonic booms, glide down the re-entry slide, land an
    orbiter, and manipulate the robotic Canadarm. There is even a Shuttle Launch
    Experience simulation ride for those looking for a
    thrill.

    The Tech Museum of Innovation
    (San Jose)

    Tech Museum
    Known as “The Tech,” the Tech Museum of Innovation is located in the heart of
    Silicon Valley. The museum is full of hands-on and interactive exhibits
    providing learning opportunities to understand how various technologies
    affect everyday life. Experiences include an interactive cyber safety
    exhibit, a robotics lab, a 1,000 square foot Tech Test Zone and
    more.

    Gettysburg
    Battlefield “Podcast” Tours (Gettysburg,
    Pennsylvania)

    Gettysburg
    History and technology combine at this historic battle site. In partnership
    with Civil War Traveler, Gettysburg National Military Park has developed the
    first battlefield “podcast” tours. The 90-minute walking tours of
    battlefield landmarks can be downloaded ono iPods or mp3
    devices.

    Roboworld
    at Carnegie Science Center
    (Pittsburgh)

    Roboworld As
    the world’s largest permanent robotics exhibition, there are three distinct
    areas featuring robots sensing, thinking and acting that any techie will be
    thrilled to experience. Upon entering the center a life-sized RoboThespian
    named Andy greets guests. There are also interactive exhibits describing,
    replicating and demonstrating various concepts and technologies.
