    As our nation
continues to face the challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic, our medical
professionals and first responders who are serving on the front lines are
facing an additional challenge: finding a temporary place to live, either
because they’ve relocated to another area of the country to be of service or
because they want to avoid exposing their own families to the
    virus.

In March, a group called RVs 4 MDs was formed to meet this
challenge. The all-volunteer group connects healthcare workers and first
responders with RV owners who are willing to lend their RVs or campers at no
cost to these frontline heroes. To date, nearly 1,500 matches have been
    made.

If you have an RV or camper you’d like to loan to this very
worthwhile cause, visit RVs 4 MDs’ Facebook page to post a photo
of your RV or camper along with your city and state. Then complete the submission form to provide your
contact information and to read the group’s disclaimer. Once you submit your
form, volunteers will get right to work to match your RV or camper with a
    healthcare worker in need.

RVs 4 MDs is also looking for volunteers who are willing to
coordinate matches in their local areas. If you’re interested, or would like
to learn more, visit the group’s Facebook page for
    volunteers
    .

The National Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds (ARVC) is
partnering with RVs 4 MDs to help find campgrounds where the healthcare
workers and first responders can stay in their borrowed RVs. ARVC is
encouraging its members across the country to offer campsites to these
healthcare heroes for free or at a reduced rate. ARVC has also shared its
state-by-state tracker with RVs 4 MDs so the organization can stay informed
on which campgrounds are open or closed in a particular state. The tracker is
available on ARVC’s coronavirus information hub: State Tracker.

If you have an RV or camper that is not currently being used that
you can loan to a healthcare worker or first responder, you will give them
the peace of mind of knowing that they no longer have to worry about finding
temporary housing. This will allow them to focus on their most important
mission — caring for patients. For more information, visit Facebook.com/rvs4mds
