    The Place

      Welcome to River Oaks RV Park located on the Des Moines River in beautiful central Iowa. The park is full of fun things to do. You can spend your day biking and hiking the miles of trails carved through the woods or enjoy the serene atmosphere throughout the park. You’ll enjoy mature hardwood trees and large RV sites during your stay. Also, take advantage of our one acre stocked fishing pond or cast a line out on the Des Moines River!

      Park Rules & Directions

      • Check-In: 1 pm or later
      • Check-Out: 11 am
      • Quiet hours between 10 pm and 7 am
      • Guests must leave before 10 pm
      • Pets must always be attended to, kept on a leash, and cleaned up after
      • No climbing on trees
      • No swimming in the pond
      • No ATVs permitted
      • No speeding. The limit is 10 mph in the park.
      • Fire rings cannot be moved
      • No more than 2 vehicles per site
      • No boats or trailers of any kind at the campsite
      • Campsite must be kept clean
      • No freezers outside of the camper
      • No space heaters allowed inside or under campers
      • No littering
      • Max 6 people per campsite
      • No more than 1 tent per RV site
      • No more than 2 tents per primitive tent site
      • No pools of any kind
      • Trash must be taken to the dumpster prior to checkout
      • Don't leave trash out at night
