The Place
The Outpost Campground & RV Park is nestled in the hills of Eastern, KY in a little town called Salt Lick and located only a few miles from a hidden gem in the Daniel Boone National Forest, Cave Run Lake. You can find endless amounts of hiking trails, riding trails, multiple access points to the 8,200- acre lake, and delicious dining options in the area. The Outpost Campground was establish in 1988 by the late Billy McClain and has grown to 80+ Full hook-up sites, various recreational activities, playground, pool, bath house, dog park, and the newest venture, glamping.
